- PV performance modeling (PVsyst, PlantPredict)
- Python for data analysis and automation
- Experience with PV and BESS systems, inverters and battery backup
- SCADA, monitoring and communications protocols
- Understanding of substations, utility meters and MET station equipment
- Advanced Excel and reporting (Word/PowerPoint) for presentations
- Ability to define and track KPIs and performance metrics
- Vendor and third-party software management experience
- Root-cause analysis and failure resolution for O&M teams
Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational performance engineering activities for Origis and third-party assets
- Develop and lead fleet performance strategy, processes, systems, and tools
- Perform analyses to evaluate and improve PV and BESS energy performance models
- Develop models and tools to reduce underperformance and streamline field notifications
- Serve as technical interface between ROC, Field Operations, and Asset Management
- Own daily/weekly/monthly plant performance reporting and Expected Energy definitions
- Translate commercial and operational objectives into initiatives and KPIs
- Define, document and implement technical processes and procedures organization-wide
- Support technical investment decisions to improve operational efficiency
- Manage technical contract scopes, third-party providers onboarding, QA and implementation
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mathematical Science required
- Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
