- System-level architecture of SerDes, ADC/DAC and high-speed IO
- Strong RTL and verification collaboration experience
- Experience with device bring-up, control loops and DSP for high-speed links
- Vendor and customer engagement for silicon product development
- Familiarity with SPICE, IBIS-AMI and CAD tool flows
- Proficiency in scripting/analysis (Python, MATLAB) for modeling and validation
- Strong written and verbal technical communication, including conference representation
Responsibilities
- Own digital architecture for Passage product and coordinate architecture across digital, analog, photonic, and software teams
- Define system-level digital designs integrating high-speed drivers/receivers, SerDes, ADC/DAC, modulators and detectors
- Deliver architectural specifications, product datasheets and customer-facing reference designs
- Collaborate with RTL and DV teams to enable block-level implementation and verification
- Work with program managers to plan and execute product development through production
- Engage directly with top-tier semiconductor customers and vendors during development and bring-up
- Validate hardware with test/validation engineers versus simulation predictions
- Identify risks, mitigation strategies and roadmap/technology direction
Education
- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (required)
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience (required)
