Maintenance Engineer, PCB (Starlink)
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems, or manufacturing engineering
- Minimum 1 year engineering experience in manufacturing, integration, reliability, or operations
- Hands-on familiarity with equipment control systems, machinery, and industrial automation
- Ability to read equipment schematics and OEM manuals
- Experience using probability and statistical tools for reliability analysis
- Familiarity with CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo, SAP, Infor)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project engineering to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations
- Develop and own equipment improvement and preventative maintenance plans to maximize uptime and OEE
- Define, design, and refine asset maintenance strategies including predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies
- Prepare and maintain asset documentation for mechanical design, controls, and software
- Root-cause analysis and engineering remediation for repetitive failures affecting capacity, quality, cost, or compliance
- Analyze asset utilization, remaining useful life, and operational restrictions to inform maintenance priorities
- Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technicians
- Manage production requests for asset improvements, control functions, and data collection
- Apply value-analysis to repair/replace and make/buy decisions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems, or manufacturing engineering (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering or reliability-related field (preferred)
