Skills
- Strong MRP system understanding and master production scheduling experience
- BOM management experience (TeamCenter preferred)
- Experience sourcing and managing medium-complexity machined components
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros) and data analysis experience
- Experience with SQL and Power BI or similar BI tools
- Vendor management, supplier qualification, and cost-reduction programs
- Risk identification and mitigation in supply chain and manufacturing
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to align design, manufacturing, and supply chain requirements and mitigate reliability risks
- Define strategic and tactical goals for supply chain engineering and lead initiatives to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Oversee end-to-end delivery execution from supplier facility to specified production area
- Drive change management to ensure on-time introduction of conforming parts at rate
- Identify insourcing/outsourcing opportunities to support production rate (drive, make, buy)
- Develop reporting, KPIs, and systems to monitor reliability progress and inform stakeholders
- Champion technical cost reduction projects in collaboration with sourcing leadership
- Hire, mentor, and develop supply chain engineering talent and establish succession plans
- Represent the team to program leadership and build strong supplier relationships
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field (preferred)
