Skills
- Facilities and infrastructure systems knowledge (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, generators)
- Production scheduling and forecasting experience
- Proficiency with Excel for queries, metrics, and data analysis
- Experience using Jira or comparable scheduler/production tools
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external contractors
- Root-cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset
Responsibilities
- Act as primary external communications contact for department clients, delivering timely world-class service
- Manage scheduling, forecasting, and resource allocation for facilities maintenance and repair work
- Prioritize and push/pull work to optimize lead times and reduce stagnation
- Coordinate inputs from engineering, suppliers, and operations to maintain master schedules
- Use Jira and other tools to schedule, prioritize, and track work and resources
- Develop root-cause analyses and long-term resolutions for recurring build/repair issues
- Create and report daily, weekly, and monthly schedule performance metrics
- Manage demand signals, forecasts, and inventory/order strategies for high-consumption parts
- Oversee trade partners and design engineering solutions for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, structural, and water systems
- Track KPIs including safety, quality, labor trends, and operating expenses and report to leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field OR
- Minimum 4+ years experience in supply chain, production, engineering, or project management as an alternative to a degree
