- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO9001/AS9100) and quality tools (PFMEA, SPC, DoE, MSA).
- Configuration, change, and risk management experience.
- Strong data analysis and metrics development to drive decisions.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Woodinville, WA and travel up to 25%; able to work extended hours/weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and specialists focused on end-to-end hardware reliability (NPI, production, fleet).
- Investigate failures and anomalies in test, production, and flight; identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Define and ensure reliability requirements are captured in design and development to meet certification needs.
- Create and maintain tools, metrics, and dashboards to monitor hardware performance in the fleet and guide design improvements.
- Manage configuration, change, and risk management processes to support high-reliability hardware.
- Operate returns program and lead root-cause analysis of returned hardware to inform design and process changes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering disciplines, customers, and production to improve reliability across the program.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (required).
- Master’s degree in an engineering discipline (preferred).
