Skills
- Hands-on experience building, testing, or manufacturing mechanical systems or components
- Knowledge of pressure and leak testing methods and instrumentation
- Familiarity with welding, machining, and coating processes
- Experience with process development, PFMEA, and root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of CAD and GD&T for manufacturing support
- Ability to work directly with hardware on the production floor for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Own piece parts and assembled propulsion sub-systems through manufacturing to delivery while meeting Dragon production rates and quality standards
- Develop and qualify new manufacturing processes to transition products from design to production
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing discrepancies in collaboration with design, production, and quality teams
- Support day-to-day production of tank and engine assemblies, high-pressure testing, and hardware integration
- Plan and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet volume production demand
- Identify and eliminate process waste, streamline production workflows, and lead continuous improvement efforts
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, systems, manufacturing) or physics
