- Thermal modeling and simulation experience

- Ability to liaise across multidisciplinary teams and communicate results
Responsibilities
- Perform thermal modeling and analysis of spacecraft components and systems
- Conduct thermal design trade studies balancing performance, risk, cost and schedule
- Identify and resolve thermal design, acceptance and performance issues
- Design, execute and analyze thermal tests (component, assembly, balance tests)
- Validate thermal models using test and in-flight data
- Coordinate with program and engineering teams on thermal design and test matters
- Research and evaluate vendors for thermal control materials
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related engineering field
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status (ITAR eligibility required for US roles)
