Skills
- Proficiency with electromagnetic and RF circuit simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS)
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (network analyzers, signal analyzers, near-field scanners)
- PCB schematic capture and high-frequency layout experience (Altium or comparable)
- Experience with phased arrays, beamforming, and antenna design/testing
- Programming for test and automation (Python, MATLAB, C++ or similar)
- Electronic systems engineering: spec definition, part selection, and test planning
- Strong troubleshooting and measurement interpretation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain phased arrays and RF front-end electronics for radar applications
- Define radar architectures and participate in system-level trade studies
- Build prototypes and support PCB/layout decisions for high-frequency designs
- Perform RF testing, troubleshooting, and validation in lab and field environments
- Develop test plans, documentation, and procedures to qualify hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, systems) to integrate RF subsystems
- Drive design iterations from prototype to initial production readiness
- Stay current with emerging RF and radar technologies to inform design choices
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (required)
- Master's degree in RF/Microwave Engineering or related field (preferred)
