VP, Sales

SimpliSafe is a high-tech home security company on a mission to keep Every Home Secure. We are seeking a seasoned commercial leader to unify and modernize our multi-channel sales organization—covering Retail, Strategic Partnerships, Field Sales, and SMB—driving predictable, profitable growth in a subscription-driven business while optimizing channel economics and cross-functional execution.

Skills

  • Omnichannel sales leadership across retail, partnerships, and digital/assisted channels
  • P&L management and metrics-driven accountability (LTV/CAC, retention, attach rates)
  • Experience building operating models, incentive plans, and territory design
  • Strong partnership development and account management skills
  • Forecasting, analytics, and performance management expertise
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain
  • Experience with subscription + hardware/service business models

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead enterprise sales strategy across Retail, Strategic Partnerships, Field Sales, and SMB.
  • Modernize retail partnerships (Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Target) through improved programs and in-channel execution.
  • Design scalable operating models for Field Sales and SMB including incentives, staffing, and performance systems.
  • Own P&L across channels and deliver revenue, margin, and LTV/CAC targets.
  • Establish multi-year channel roadmap integrating established and emerging channels.
  • Implement consistent sales methodologies, KPIs, dashboards, and operating rhythms.
  • Optimize resource allocation—territories, incentives, partner structures—for scalable growth.
  • Expand and deepen strategic partnerships across insurance, telecom, smart home, real estate, and other adjacencies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with E-commerce, CX, Brand, Product, Finance, Supply Chain, and Growth to align GTM execution.
  • Build and develop a high-performing sales and channel leadership team and succession pipeline.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred
