Channel Sales Director

Shift4 is a leading commerce-enabling technology company simplifying payments ecosystems worldwide. The Channel Sales Director will independently drive new partner acquisition and revenue growth across North America by prospecting, negotiating, onboarding, and enabling ISV/dealer partners to integrate and sell Shift4 solutions.

Skills

  • Proven channel sales experience within POS/payments ecosystems
  • Strong negotiation and contract-closing skills
  • Experience onboarding and enabling partners on integrations
  • CRM proficiency, especially Salesforce (Monday.com preferred)
  • Ability to present and train partners effectively in person and remotely
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, CSMs, and operations
  • Comfortable with travel for trade shows, conferences, and on-site meetings
  • Metric-driven approach to partner growth and lead conversion

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and sign new channel partners (ISVs, dealers, integrators) across North America
  • Create, negotiate, and close commercial agreements and partnership contracts
  • Drive partner onboarding and integration with internal API/integration teams through certification
  • Train partners on Shift4 products, sales processes, residual reporting, and installation/activation
  • Prepare and execute structured partner presentations and on-site meeting agendas
  • Coordinate with CSMs, marketing, finance, product, and operations to ensure successful partner launches
  • Maintain accurate partner and merchant records in Salesforce and related systems
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by AVP/SVP of Channel and provide feedback to cross-functional teams
  • Oversee initial merchant launches from partner leads and manage formal hand-off to CSM after onboarding milestones
  • Address escalated service issues and drive resolution with internal teams

Education

  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience
