About the role
The Loan Servicing Representative role is key to the success of the Reprise Portfolio. This role follows up with our customers to ensure timely payments, loss mitigation, and loan modifications.
Key Responsibilities
Monitors and contacts customers with outstanding debts
Works to bring customers into active status by reviewing payment options, extensions, loan modifications etc.
Process payments from customers, assists them with setting up recurring or single payments
Answer customer questions related to general account maintenance (ex: balances, payments, address changes, etc.)
Takes actions to encourage timely debt payments
Ensure account maintenance is updated within core system of record
Report on collection activity and account status
Research history such as ACH transactions, disputes, posting errors, and submits corrections
May support other functions within Collections and Servicing teams
Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
1–2 years of collections experience in a high-volume call center environment
Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (ex: skip tracing)
Knowledge of collection practices and associated regulations preferred
Prior customer service and/or call center experience preferred
Experience working in financial services, lending or payments preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred
Location
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing team members to split their time between our office and remote work. You’ll have the flexibility to work in our office located in Irving, TX while also enjoying the option to work remotely on certain days. This balance promotes collaboration and provides the freedom to choose your ideal work environment. All team members must reside in one of our approved locations by their start date.
Compensation
For this role our salary range is $18 to $20 per hour, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a incentive bonus based on both company and individual performance.
