Skills
- Experience with PCBAs, avionics boxes, and wire harness fabrication/assembly
- Knowledge of IPC standards for PCB and cable assembly
- Ability to produce manufacturing work instructions, process control plans, and test procedures
- Hands-on troubleshooting and production support experience
- Data-driven continuous improvement and yield optimization
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed process plans, work instructions, and work orders for avionics hardware and wire harness manufacturing
- Lead and conduct Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRRs) to assess production readiness and mitigate risk
- Collaborate with design engineers to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback
- Support build technicians by troubleshooting production issues, resolving non-conformances, and implementing corrective actions
- Work with supply chain and quality teams to ensure procurement and inspection of avionics components
- Analyze process performance and yield data; develop capacity and demand planning models to support ramp
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
