Sr NDE Inspector, PAUT (2nd Shift)
Skills
- PAUT Level II or III certification (NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with PAUT and TFM/FMC data acquisition and analysis
- Proven ability to evaluate inspection data to defined acceptance criteria
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Familiarity with industry standards (NASA, AMS, AWS/ASME, ASTM) preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and NDE software tools
Responsibilities
- Perform volumetric NDE inspections using PAUT and TFM/FMC techniques
- Evaluate PAUT/TFM/FMC data against specific acceptance criteria and document findings
- Develop and publish part-specific NDE techniques and inspection procedures
- Collaborate with UT Level 3s and NDE Engineers on feasibility studies, PODs, and qualification plans
- Provide mentorship, training, and oversight for less experienced inspectors
- Interface with vendors and external stakeholders regarding inspection results and equipment troubleshooting
- Perform surface NDE inspections (visual, PT, ET as applicable) and maintain comprehensive inspection records
Education
- NDE Level II or III certification in PAUT (NAS 410 or SNT-TC-1A) required
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate, associate degree, or equivalent in relevant field preferred
- Documentation of certifications available prior to interview
