Skills
- 5+ years developing, activating, and troubleshooting electrical and software systems
- Fundamental knowledge of low-voltage DC electronics and wiring practices
- Familiarity with data and control systems: SCADA, PLCs, NI, Beckhoff, DAQ hardware
- Proven ability to make decisions and build consensus with incomplete information and multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated risk identification and mitigation experience in complex systems
- Strong interest and experience mentoring and developing engineering talent
Responsibilities
- Lead design, build, and operation of data acquisition and control hardware for factory-scale test stands
- Manage and grow a high-performance engineering team, providing technical mentorship and career development
- Coordinate resources, set technical direction, and enforce engineering best practices for the DACS hardware group
- Serve as liaison with software, electrical partners, and Factory Test leadership to integrate systems and requirements
- Troubleshoot and activate electrical and software systems during test campaigns and operations
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks across complex test systems
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
