- Hands-on experience performing and delivering Coupled Loads Analysis and dynamic response studies
- Proven ability to take projects from concept through V&V and certification on vehicle programs
- Experience with testing, instrumentation, telemetry, and flight/ground data analysis
- Strong program execution skills: structuring, negotiating, and delivering complex analysis projects to hardware teams and authorities
- Familiarity with analysis tooling, automation workflows, and commercial/custom software integration
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration with aerodynamics, GNC, propulsion, structures, and avionics
- Leadership experience hiring, coaching, and managing technical analysts
Responsibilities
- Serve as company technical authority for Loads & Dynamics: own requirements, decisions, risks, verification activities, and certification interfaces
- Lead development, execution, delivery, and validation of Coupled Loads Analysis (CLA) and related dynamic analyses, including tooling and automation
- Establish and execute multi-year roadmaps for analysis, testing, and tool development in partnership with engineering leadership
- Drive system- and operations-level design tradeoffs to meet loads/dynamics criteria and improve performance, reliability, and simplicity
- Collaborate closely with Aerodynamics, GNC, Propulsion, Structures, and Avionics to balance hardware needs with updated modeling and analysis
- Oversee testing, instrumentation planning, data collection, and post-test data analysis to validate models and close verification
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage analysts to produce hardware-focused, collaborative, and technically rigorous work products
- Represent Loads & Dynamics with customers, range authorities, and certification stakeholders as needed
Education
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or a related technical field required (BS or equivalent)
- Graduate degree (MS) in engineering or related field is a plus/desired
