- Advanced incident investigation and root cause analysis

- Regulatory knowledge: CalOSHA, SCAQMD, RCRA and related agencies
- Risk assessment and JHA development
- EHS program/project management in manufacturing

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Ability to lead and develop EHS specialist team
Responsibilities
- Lead complex incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management
- Manage timely emergency response and escalate critical EHS incidents
- Serve as EHS representative and collaborate with production, engineering, and technicians
- Communicate environmental and safety objectives to site stakeholders
- Track and report EHS performance metrics and site objectives
- Develop and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments
- Implement and deliver EHS training across work centers
- Incorporate corporate EHS minimum requirements into factory operations
- Conduct environmental inspections, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Perform internal EHS audits and implement mitigation measures
- Monitor waste disposal, spill prevention, and hazardous waste controls
- Lead initiatives that foster a positive safety culture and continuous compliance
- Manage and develop a team of EHS Specialists on 2nd shift
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or related field
- Relevant professional certifications preferred (OSHA, HAZWOPER, ASP/CSP)
- Continued training in industrial hygiene, emergency response, and regulatory topics
