Skills
- Mechanical engineering design and analysis of structures, mechanisms, and fluid systems

- Ability to work at heights, lift up to 25 lbs, travel up to 25%, and work extended hours when needed
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of technicians, specialists, and engineers; hire and develop team members
- Design and produce test stands, fabrication drawings, wiring schematics, and instrumentation lists
- Oversee test rack and harness design, fabrication, integration, and operation
- Coordinate with design engineering, dynamics, and thermal teams to meet vehicle/environmental requirements
- Maintain and modify systems for internal support requests and control inventories for build center parts
- Train technicians and engineers on test concepts, equipment use, and safe operation
- Supervise integration including mechanical assembly, data acquisition, and control systems
- Operate tests with strict attention to detail and enforce protocols to minimize risk
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
