- Experience leading design reviews and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate abstract requirements and constraints into actionable design criteria
Responsibilities
- Engage with vehicle design and partner teams to drive optimized designs and shepherd them through review and part release
- Own and lead Design Criteria Reviews with design teams and responsible engineers
- Provide guidance and approval of qualification and acceptance test campaigns in preparation for flight
- Collaborate with responsible engineers throughout design, ensuring design criteria are incorporated into hardware development
- Build, modify, or eliminate engineering tools, processes, and standards to improve product-focused development
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 2+ years of relevant aerospace or systems experience
