- Experience with hardware bring-up, board-level validation, and debugging
- Board design knowledge from concept through manufacturing
- Data analysis skills for test and validation results
- Comfort working in highly cross-functional teams
- Basic project management to keep hardware on schedule
Responsibilities
- Design and iterate board-level electronics using eCAD tools (Altium or equivalent).
- Lead hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis for avionics boards.
- Manage hardware development through design verification, qualification, and initial flight production.
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and software teams for integrated solutions.
- Develop test plans, define verification criteria, and execute qualification campaigns.
- Create and maintain design documentation, production packages, and integration procedures.
- Support vehicle integration and flight operations, including troubleshooting on hardware in test or flight.
- Drive schedule and technical tradeoffs to keep hardware projects on track for launch milestones.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Additional coursework or training in electronics design and test is a plus
