Skills
- Experience with SMT, reflow, box build, and mechanical assembly processes
- Knowledge of high-voltage (HV) safety processes and electro-mechanical integration
- Ability to write and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
- Experience partnering with CMs in high-volume production environments
- Familiarity with MES, data extraction (Python/SQL), and Lean/continuous improvement tools
Responsibilities
- Define manufacturing process flows and create station-level documentation, tooling, and fixture requirements
- Partner with contract manufacturers to bring up new lines, validate takt times, throughput, and line balance
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead corrective actions to improve yield and first-pass success
- Own DFM and DFT feedback to product engineering for manufacturability and testability
- Collaborate with quality and test engineering to ensure process stability, traceability, and defect containment
- Analyze production data and build dashboards to identify trends, bottlenecks, and cost-reduction opportunities
- Develop and execute ramp plans for NPI and scale transitions with tracking metrics
Education
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Related technical certifications (preferred but not required)
