- Data-driven decision making and commercial acumen
- Willingness to travel internationally (10–25%)
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers for electronics, interconnects, and PCBA components
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate commercial terms, and establish MSAs, SOWs, and pricing agreements
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure supplier readiness for NPI and mass production
- Monitor supplier performance and manage escalations in quality, cost, and delivery
- Manage VMI/buffer inventory strategies and lifecycle cost optimization
- Analyze BOM cost structure and propose sourcing strategies to reduce landed cost and mitigate supply risk
- Support make-vs-buy, dual-sourcing, and localization initiatives across global supply chains
- Contribute to contract manufacturer (CM) sourcing decisions, lead-time analysis, and manufacturing footprint strategy
Education
- B.S. in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent technical background
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
