Supply Chain Assistant
The Supply Chain Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across our inventory, supplier relationships, and shipment processes. This is a hands-on role for someone with a technical background (accounting or engineering preferred) who is eager to learn “nose to tail” about the business and become a core part of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update inventory records to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm product specifications, pricing, and order details.
- Review and verify product photos and descriptions for accuracy.
- Coordinate shipment schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and track orders, resolving any supply chain issues as they arise.
- Assist in documenting and improving supply chain workflows and processes.
- Collaborate with team members to address backlog and maintain operational efficiency.
- Support additional functions such as basic bookkeeping, customer service, or review solicitation when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or a related operational role.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for supplier coordination and internal teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace; experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to assist in cross-functional tasks such as bookkeeping or customer service.
