Sales Manager

Nerdy (NYSE: NRDY), the company behind Varsity Tutors, is building an AI-native learning platform and is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-impact B2C inside sales team. The role requires a hands-on leader who will manage 15+ representatives, own revenue and conversion targets, coach in real time, and partner with senior leadership to drive scalable, metrics-driven sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance for 15+ B2C inside sales representatives
  • Set, own, and exceed revenue, conversion, and client retention targets with clear accountability
  • Deliver daily coaching: live call listening, targeted feedback, role plays, and skill development
  • Run weekly metrics-focused team meetings to review wins, challenges, and improvement plans
  • Design and execute sales contests and incentive programs to boost performance
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, pipeline integrity, and reliable forecasts
  • Collaborate with senior sales leadership to refine strategy and scale processes
  • Model and embed company culture, maintaining high engagement and accountability

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ongoing professional development in sales leadership preferred
