Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, excellent project management, knowledge of instructional design principles, and proficiency in various training methods and software tools are essential.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant training or teaching experience; instructional design and curriculum development skills are a plus.

The FACTS Trainer plays a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our associates. Their primary focus is to create an engaging learning environment that fosters professional growth and ensures staff are well-equipped to meet the demands of their roles. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining curricula for current and future products and platforms. The trainer demonstrates expertise across all stages of the training process, from needs assessment and content creation to delivery and evaluation. Responsibilities include identifying training needs, developing relevant content, facilitating effective sessions, and measuring training success to ensure it meets desired outcomes. Additionally, the Trainer collaborates closely with department stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational OKRs, ensuring a strategic and impactful learning experience.
Lincoln Nebraska and surrounding area candidates: This position offers a hybrid work option. Nelnet values flexibility and understands the importance of work-life integration. Our hybrid work environment allows associates to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence three days per week.
