Business Applications Delivery Consultant – (Accounting/Finance Systems)

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the delivery of large, high-value initiatives at MeridianLink with a focus on Accounting and Finance business applications (NetSuite, Anaplan, Coupa, etc.). This role interfaces with internal project management and business stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise on feasibility, scope, timeline, and budgetary impacts of potential new projects. This position will also provide guidance on delivery methodology and determine resource requirements required for success, in addition to directly overseeing the delivery and execution of prioritized projects.

A successful candidate must have experience defining and optimizing business processes, reviewing business and technical requirements, scoping large projects and initiatives, and managing delivery of business systems in the following areas: Accounting, Order Fulfillment, Finance, SOX Compliance, Audit, and Financial Reporting. 

• Coordinate with internal project management and business stakeholders to review upcoming project scope, resourcing requirements, delivery timelines, and budgetary impacts
• Provide subject matter expertise reviewing business systems and business processes for areas of improvement
• Work directly with internal/external developers, and/or other Professional Services organizations to drive project delivery while assisting with configuration/review as required
• Ability to perform configurations and data analysis with knowledge of NetSuite or similarly complex ERPs and related integrated systems
• Effectively communicating insights, plans, and delivery updates to cross-functional team members and management
• Ability to facilitate solution review and sign off from various business stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to create clear knowledge documentation and execute handoff of go-forward maintenance to an internal system maintenance team
• Provide thought leadership in Finance & Accounting systems leading practices and provide solutions to executive leadership

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Coursework or practical experience with Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field required
• 5+ years of business systems experience as administrator and/or analyst (in accounting/financial systems, NetSuite experience required)
• 2+ years involvement in managing or configuration in large project delivery of SaaS applications
• Experience in coordinating and managing external Professional Services organizations for project delivery
• Experience with managing work within Agile frameworks
• Experience in SDLC within a SOX controlled environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and present in front of key stakeholders
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
• Previous experience with SaaS company product framework and delivery preferred
• Previous experience with Salesforce CRM/CPQ+, Anaplan, and Coupa is a plus

Salary range of $114,300 to $161,400 (It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.) The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
