This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Mechanical Engineering Intern joining our Connected Building Team at our Peachtree City, Georgia location with Signify.
Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
The internship program is from February 2 - May 22, 2026
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will collaborate closely with the New Product Introduction project team to build and review samples, work on (BOM) Bill of Materials details, and interact with a cross-functional team to support Connected Building NPI launches.

Currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
Demonstrate basic mechanical design approaches and capabilities
Have basic knowledge of various material and their structural and thermal properties
Excellent communication, organizational and people skills and the ability to work across functional groups
Ability to articulate and promote Engineering best-practices.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Pay Rate: $23 - $29 per hour (based on year of study)
