Job Description Summary

               

Performs moderately complex research and analysis for assigned financial area. Presents analysis and recommendations to management. Identifies and investigates issues related to assigned projects. Areas of responsibility may include: Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Treasury, M&A, Investor Relations, Risk Mgmt, Insurance & Loss, Tax, Credit, Trade, Pricing, Freight or Financial Systems. 3 years related experience.

Job Description

• Act as a co-pilot for the Multi-National Chain team

• Comprehensive understanding of the various business drivers of the business segment

• Participate in month-end/quarter-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including ability to communicate key financial and business drivers, resolve risks and opportunities in a timely matter

• Provide specific, actionable, and forward-looking commentary on monthly/quarterly forecasts

• Play a key role in SG&A and A&P analysis and reporting for the business unit

• Assist in the development of the annual business/strategic plan

• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for various requests (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, etc.) and proactive recommendations to the sales team required to make profitable business decisions and maximize top and bottom-line growth

• Provide technical and process expertise working cross-functionally to improve processes and reporting within new systems

• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to sales organizations and finance teams

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance required

• 3 years of professional experience in financial analysis and data management

Skills:

• Knowledge of P&L management and generally accepted accounting principles

• Demonstrate ability to analyze and assimilate relevant data into key financial recommendations

• Ability to present complex financial data using detailed reports and charts to both internal and external audience

• Demonstrated successful interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Strong ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, build consensus, and lead initiatives in an organized and efficient manner

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software tools preferred

• Knowledge of applications such as Power Bi preferred

• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and work independently

• Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge

• Demonstrate ability to self-motivate and work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $69,500.00 - $104,240.00
