As a Field Marketing Manager, you will support organizational growth by working in partnership with the Regional Sales Managers (RSM), and the Area Sales Managers (ASM) to assist with developing our channel partners and direct subsidiary business. The Field Marketing Manager plays a vital role with on-boarding education, product and solutions training, serving as a Kyocera knowledge resource expert, and gathering vital voice of customer (VOC) and voice of field (VOF) information. Most importantly, your support helps our robust channel partner network grow and succeed in their business objects.

The Field Marketing Manager responsibilities can be broken down into four primary areas of focus:
+ Assisting Sales with New Partner Recruitment and On-boarding
o In partnership with the regions RSM and the ASM’s, translate sales objectives into region and channel partner specific marketing engagement plans. Align those plans to the regional growth objectives and new channel partner acquisition.
o Provide support for all sales channels by actively participating / facilitating at sales meetings, customer events, regional association or industry events, and other activities that support development of regional growth and new partner development.
o Build and nurture relationships with the regional sales teams to over-communicate and gain alignment on critical organizational programs, product launches, channel marketing programs, and other vital activities design to activate our new channel partners development.
+ Product, Solution, and Kyocera Resource Training
o Position is responsible for managing all virtual, regionally based, or local product and solutions workshops. This includes industry events, trade associations, and industry webinars. This is in support of the Kyocera and Copystar dealer divisions, our direct operations, and enterprise and strategic account channels.
o The role requires a deep understanding and ability to convey knowledge of all Kyocera devices and business applications, third party solutions, competitive devices and solutions, network infrastructure and connectivity, as well as basic and advanced sales skills (ex: vertical market sales, MPS, etc.)
o Coordinates training and development programs and initiatives in support of customer needs and organizational goals. Assists in the planning, execution and tracking of technical and professional training programs as outlined in our partner program requirements.
+ Gaining and Maintaining Formal Channel Partner Relationships.
o Maintain key relationships within channel partner community you support, and with the third-party vendors you interact with.
o Support corporate marketing initiatives, such as product launches, demo contests, field blitzes, program announcements, on-boarding efforts, and supporting new employees within dealers as they add resources.
o Participate actively in marketing and project management reporting tools. Report weekly /monthly on the status of field marketing activities and KPI’s
o Support key field marketing projects and activities in collaboration with the other field marketing Managers within each region.
+ Gathering and Analyzing Vital Voice of Customer / Voice of Field information
o Monitor and report back on competitor channel programs, competitor products and solutions, competitive pricing, channel partner development requirements, and industry trends.
o Support, execute, and manage required VOC and VOF surveys and research as requested by the channel, product management team, and overall KDA initiatives.
+ Self-starter with strong sense of ownership, leadership and ability to work autonomously
+ Possess Dynamic presentation skills and must be effective in creating excitement, enthusiasm and loyalty to KDA initiatives.
+ Experience with training and/ or utilizing Managed Document Services (MDS)/Managed Print Services (MPS) software, tools and sales techniques.
+ Demonstrated influencing skills that can drive change in all sales channels towards a total document solutions sales approach
+ Ability to create effective content and instructor’s curriculum for all types of sales and solutions training to prospective dealer customers and/or KDA field staff.
+ Strong Instructional/facilitation skills
+ Strong project management and organizational skills
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal problem-solving skills
+ Ability to travel by plane or company car, up to 75% (includes overnight)
+ Valid driver’s license a must
+ Position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four year college or university with relevant professional experience.
Preferred:+ Degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline preferred.
+ Experience working with in-house sales team a plus.
+ Previous sales experience a plus
+ Experience working with office product industry hardware and software solutions, either competitive or Kyocera is preferred.
