Position Overview
Our client is seeking an exceptional leader to lead their growing CFO Advisory and Bill-Pay division and drive the next phase of expansion across private wealth segments. This senior leadership role combines strategic leadership, business development, and operational excellence to position the company as the premier choice for UHNWI seeking strategic CFO advisory services and/or bill-pay solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overall performance, client satisfaction, team development, and market expansion while maintaining the highest standards of advisory excellence, discretion, and professional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
· Develop and execute business strategy to achieve growth targets
· Drive innovation in service delivery models and technology adoption
· Position the firm as a trusted strategic partner for its clients
· Lead market expansion initiatives
· Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance market position
Business Development & Client Management
· Develop and manage relationships with clients
· Lead major client acquisition initiatives
· Develop pricing strategies and service offerings that align with market demands
· Ensure highest levels of discretion and confidentiality for all client relationships
· Represent the company at industry conferences, forums, and networking events
Operational Excellence
· Oversee delivery of strategic CFO advisory services
· Collaborate with clients’ advisory teams to enhance strategic planning and financial decision-making
· Manage bill-pay services for clients
· Ensure consistent service quality and client satisfaction
· Implement robust security protocols and confidentiality measures for operations
· Establish scalable processes and systems to support rapid growth
· Manage risk and compliance across all client relationships
· Oversee technology infrastructure for secure financial transactions and reporting
Team Leadership & Development
· Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals
· Develop talent acquisition and retention strategies
· Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and client-centricity
Financial Stewardship
· Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting
· Ensure robust financial controls and reporting mechanisms
· Drive profitability improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Education & Credentials
· Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field
· CPA, CFA, or similar professional accounting/finance certification would be strongly preferred
Experience
· 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, , private wealth management, or other professional services
· Experience managing UHNWI or family office operations
· Experience in developing and executing a professional services strategy and business model with P&L responsibility
· Background in bill-pay operations, wealth management, or private banking preferred
Technical Skills
· Deep expertise in finance, financial planning & analysis, and strategic financial advisory
· Proven ability to provide strategic financial guidance and decision-support
· Knowledge of bill-pay processing systems, wealth management platforms, and private banking operations
· Understanding of payment processing, wire transfers, and secure financial transaction systems
· Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements
· Expertise in confidentiality protocols and data security for clients
Leadership Competencies
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills for C-suite audiences
· Proven ability to build and scale high-performing organizations
· Change management and organizational transformation experience
