Staff Accountant - Finance & Accounting Transformation

In this role, you will support critical finance and accounting transformation initiatives by bringing order to complexity. You will be responsible for reconciliations, accounting cleanup, and building structured schedules that strengthen reporting accuracy and connect financial data with business operations. Accountabilities

• Perform reconciliations and accounting cleanup to ensure accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements.
• Build and maintain balance sheet schedules aligned with GAAP requirements.
• Design and implement processes that improve reporting discipline, efficiency, and financial controls.
• Conduct tests of balance sheet accounts and analyses to validate balances.
• Develop reconciliation schedules and supporting packages to enhance finance transformation efforts.
• Translate financial statements into clear operational performance indicators.
• Partner with senior leadership to implement corrective entries and sustainable practices.
• Manage large data sets with precision and transparency.
• Collaborate with external advisors and auditors, providing detailed supporting documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in reconciliations, accounting cleanup, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and preparation of financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup/index match, complex formulas).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data.
• Ability to link financial results with operational performance and provide forward-looking insights.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
