About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented and strategic Controller to oversee our accounting and HR operations, ensure financial integrity, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a proactive approach to financial management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including GL, A/P, A/R, cash flow management and revenue recognition
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Coordinate external audits and interface with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
Support strategic initiatives with financial insights and reporting
Manage all aspects of HR, payroll, and the company insurance policies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting management role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
Nice to have - Experience with Ramp, Rippling and similar modern tools.
