Solution Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solution Engineer in the United States.

We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Engineer to join a fast-paced, customer-facing technical team. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to understand complex customer environments and deliver tailored technical solutions. You will lead product demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, and deep-dive technical discussions to showcase the impact of enterprise IT and security solutions. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. You will have the opportunity to influence large-scale technology deployments, collaborate with multiple internal teams, and drive meaningful outcomes for global organizations. Travel is expected to engage directly with clients and prospects in person.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Lead pre-sales technical engagements, including discovery meetings, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value sessions.
  • Translate customer business challenges into technical solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a technical expert throughout the sales cycle, ensuring consistency and high-quality customer experience.
  • Partner with internal teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to maximize technical effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and regional marketing initiatives to showcase solutions.
  • Support channel and sales enablement activities, including technical training for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Requirements:
  • 4+ years of operational or sales experience in IT operations, endpoint management, or security.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing or support experience, ideally in pre-sales or value-based technical roles.
  • Proven ability to present to multiple levels, from C-level executives to technical users.
  • Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, and compliance, including hands-on experience in at least one of the following: endpoint security, IT operations management, or regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a mission-first attitude.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, MT, UT, AZ, NM, CO, WV, ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, IA, MN, WI, or IL.
  • Benefits:
