Marketing and Sales Training Director

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Marketing and Sales Training Director in the United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving marketing and sales excellence across both personal and commercial insurance lines. The successful candidate will lead a corporate marketing team, design and implement sales training programs, and partner with product and sales leadership to achieve business goals. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution, overseeing sales performance metrics, coaching teams, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. You will identify profitable marketing opportunities, optimize sales strategies, and ensure compliance with licensing and product regulations. This role involves collaboration across departments, supporting both recruitment and ongoing professional development. Travel is required for agent conventions and strategic initiatives.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Lead the corporate marketing team in support of personal and commercial sales initiatives.
  • Partner with product and sales leadership to establish sales objectives, strategies, and performance criteria.
  • Develop and deliver sales training programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness of sales teams.
  • Identify target markets and execute detailed marketing plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Track sales metrics, communicate results, and enforce accountability across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with agency appointments, licensing, and corporate guidelines.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and other departments to resolve issues and optimize sales outcomes.
  • Provide senior leadership with market assessments and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Attend agent conventions and actively support recruitment, orientation, and training programs.

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Prior sales management experience with proven success.
  • Strong marketing orientation with ability to design and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance operations, including claims, coverage, products, and underwriting.
  • Familiarity with commercial insurance products is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and customer-service oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel for overnight trips as needed.
