Experience Ambassador – JLL

What this job involves: As an Experience Ambassador at JLL, you will demonstrate expertise in executing high-profile meetings and events with senior executive participation while serving as the primary point of contact for conference center clients. This role requires you to consult with clients to determine event needs including space, physical setup, AV and technical requirements, catering, and event support while consistently delivering high standards of care that exceed client expectations. You'll manage all operations, functions, and logistics for the conference center while engaging in continuous improvement and innovation that reflects JLL's commitment to service delivery excellence and client satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Service Delivery:

• Execute high-profile meetings and events with senior executive participation while maintaining exceptional standards

• Consult with conference center clients to determine comprehensive event needs including space, setup, AV requirements, and catering

• Serve as primary point of contact for conference center clients while responding to all requests in timely manner

• Consistently deliver high standards of care during events while exceeding client expectations and anticipating needs

• Manage all operations, functions, and logistics for conference center including scheduling using client scheduling software

• Order catering and troubleshoot AV and other setup issues to ensure seamless event execution

• Collect feedback from business line stakeholders and client attendees to integrate into continuous improvement efforts

• Check and restock soft services including coffee machines and products for optimal client experience

• Complete all tasks and projects as directed while ensuring timely delivery based on established deadlines

• Engage in culture of continuous improvement and innovation by adopting best practices and new tools

Client Relationship Management:

• Establish rapport and maintain relationships with events and conference clients through professional engagement

• Handle all administrative support for conference center and off-site meetings including cost quotes and presentations

• Respond to inquiries and requests while providing information and direction to vendors and service providers

• Ensure excellent coordination and execution of work with minimal disruption to client operations

• Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures for effective issue resolution

• Provide backup support for reception as needed to maintain seamless client service

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree desired or equivalent work experience

• 1-3 years of experience in event planning, project management, hospitality, or related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate professionally

• Exceptional customer service skills with passion for hospitality and client satisfaction

• Willingness and ability to travel as needed for event coordination and client support

• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environment

• Track record of initiative, integrity, and good judgment in professional settings

• Highly collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-profile executive meetings and senior-level event coordination

• Background in conference center management or corporate event planning

• Knowledge of AV equipment and technical requirements for professional events

• Experience with client scheduling software and event management systems

• Understanding of catering coordination and vendor management processes

• Background in continuous improvement initiatives and best practices development

Location: Onsite - San Leandro, CA

Estimated compensation for this position:

60,000.00 – 67,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
