The HR Business Partner Director serves as a strategic HR consultant to senior leadership within a business unit or region, leading the implementation of sophisticated HR initiatives. Drives change management efforts, talent development strategies, and succession planning processes. Advises on compensation, workforce planning, and culture-building efforts. Leads high-impact investigations and provides solutions to critical employee relations challenges. Influences policy creation and champions cross-functional collaboration with COEs (Centers of Excellence) and shared services teams.
Essential Job Functions
Lead workforce planning initiatives for assigned departments and business units.
Work with finance and leadership on staffing models.
Ability to assess and execute on talent gaps.
Support organizational structure efforts.
Provide analysis and guidance on job architecture and span of control.
Work with internal HR partners and teams on engagement, communication strategies, talent retention, and talent development.
Partner with business leaders to drive excellence in talent development, succession planning, and organization goals.
Manage employee relations including performance, conduct, and workplace conflict.
Ensure consistent application of policies and lead initiatives to strengthen workplace culture and trust
Leverage workplace analytics to inform headcount planning and retention strategies.
Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, coaching to managers, and sustaining employee engagement through transformation.
Lead cross functional HR initiatives focused on engagement and productivity. Benchmark industry best practices and embed into department roadmaps.
Drive engagement survey review and lead action planning across assigned departments
