Lead- Field Marketing

About the Role 

We are looking for a Lead- Field Marketing to lead our conference, event, and regional marketing efforts with a laser focus on ROI. This leader will design and execute event strategies that generate pipeline, strengthen relationships with prospects/customers, and enable sales success. They will also oversee and coach a team of Market Development Representatives (MDRs), ensuring flawless campaign follow-up, lead conversion, and pipeline acceleration.

This role is both strategic and hands-on—ideal for a marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of event execution, demand generation, and sales alignment.

A Day in the Life 

Event Strategy & ROI

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of all conferences, tradeshows, and customer/prospect events.
  • Develop content, campaigns, and experiences that stand out and attract the right decision-makers.
  • Define event objectives, success metrics, and post-event ROI reporting.
  • Partner with Sales and BDR leadership to ensure high-quality lead capture, engagement, and conversion.

Demand Generation & Pipeline Impact

  • Build integrated pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns that drive registrations, attendance, and sales opportunities.
  • Align event marketing with broader demand generation programs (ABM, email, paid media, webinars, etc.).
  • Ensure field marketing contributes meaningfully to pipeline creation and revenue growth.
  • Partner with BDRs and MDRs to ensure fast, high-quality follow-up on all event leads.
  • Design playbooks to move contacts from event interaction → qualified pipeline

Team Leadership (MDRs)

  • Manage and mentor a team of Market Development Representatives (MDRs).
  • Establish clear SLAs for event follow-up and pipeline contribution.
  • Coach MDRs on messaging, outreach, and qualification best practices.
  • Align MDR efforts with marketing campaigns and field programs to maximize lead-to-opportunity conversion.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to drive consistency in messaging, targeting, and measurement.
  • Serve as the voice of the field, bringing market insights back into the organization.


What You Need 

  • 6–8+ years of experience in B2B enterprise marketing, with significant experience in field marketing and event demand generation.
  • Proven track record of driving event ROI and converting marketing investments into pipeline.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing MDR/SDR or inside sales teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in Healthcare preferred.

Success Metrics

  • Contribution of events to marketing pipeline and closed-won revenue.
  • Event ROI vs. spend.
  • MDR performance against lead conversion and pipeline contribution targets.
  • Prospect and customer engagement at events.
