Account Manager (North Central) - job 1 of 2

GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, privately-held cybersecurity reseller and services provider supporting Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. The Account Manager will partner with a designated Account Executive to maintain and grow existing accounts, manage renewals and upsells, leverage vendor relationships, and drive adoption of GuidePoint professional services across the North Central (WI) region.

Skills

  • Proven inside sales or account management success
  • Direct cybersecurity industry experience
  • Salesforce CRM proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable with a flexible work schedule and occasional travel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated Account Manager supporting a specified Account Executive to maintain and grow their account business
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and drive issues to resolution
  • Act as liaison between customers, vendors, and GuidePoint internal teams
  • Develop and retain product, vendor, and industry knowledge to add customer value
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendor partners and customer stakeholders
  • Manage open opportunities and identify whitespace/upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Represent the AE at customer meetings and support closing renewals, upsells, and net-new deals with AE guidance
  • Drive and sell GuidePoint professional services engagements across assigned accounts
  • Assist with forecast management and internal reporting; use Salesforce to track opportunities and generate quotes
  • Collaborate on account-targeted marketing communications and follow-up

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
