Company Description
Greenboard is building “Rippling” for financial compliance and operations. Our goal: enable regulated financial firms to run their back office at a higher standard with half the headcount. We’re starting with financial compliance.
We’re an in-person team based in Flatiron, NYC. Our founding team includes engineers who scaled products at Amazon, Google, and several unicorn startups. We’re backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Base10 and other fantastic investors, and have now raised $20M+ (Series A). We’ve found product-market fit and are focused on scaling the business, accelerating platform adoption, and preparing for Series B and beyond. Brand-name financial institutions already rely on Greenboard, and we’re growing quickly.
Why we need you
We’ve moved from PMF → repeatable growth and now need a founding Staff Product Manager to own the product strategy that allows Greenboard to operate and innovate at scale. You will define platform-level priorities, build product processes and metrics, drive cross-functional execution, and hire and mentor product talent as we expand into broader enterprise accounts and new product lines.
We'll click if you...
Bring 6–10 years of product management experience at B2B SaaS companies (fintech, compliance, or mission-critical enterprise software a plus), with demonstrable success scaling products from early customers to scale.
Have owned platform/scale problems — you can point to concrete outcomes (ARR growth, NRR, gross retention, reduced time-to-value, latency/throughput improvements, or operational cost reductions).
Translate high-level go-to-market and commercial goals into product roadmaps that move metrics (expansion motion, packaging, pricing experiments, self-serve vs enterprise splits).
Design for scale: you prioritize multi-tenant architecture tradeoffs, data schemas, API surface, permissions/roles, provisioning, and observability for thousands of users and millions of events.
Develop product processes and OKRs — you hire and coach PMs, introduce scalable discovery rhythms, and run rigorous experimentation and A/B testing programs.
Partner fluently with engineering leads on technical tradeoffs and sales/CS to understand the business.
Lead customer discovery with enterprise compliance teams and legal stakeholders — you convert regulatory nuance (SEC/FINRA requirements) into usable product constraints and compliant UX.
Ship product with a bias for measurable outcomes — clear PRDs, telemetry, launch playbooks, and postmortems that improve cycle time and quality.
Protect sensitive customer and commercial information with absolute discretion.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Technical degrees are a strong plus.
