Strategic Account Manager - Retail Media

Goodway Group is a remote-first, award-winning digital media and marketing services firm with a 90+ year history that combines the stability of an established company with a startup mindset. They are seeking a Strategic Account Manager (Retail Media) — a senior client partner who will bridge strategy and execution, lead cross-channel media planning, translate performance data into actionable insights, and drive growth for retail and brand clients.

Skills

  • Deep experience across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic media
  • Strong analytics and data-translation skills to produce actionable recommendations
  • Proven client-facing and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multi-channel campaign workflows
  • Business acumen with experience identifying upsell and growth opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-channel media planning and execution for assigned accounts, aligning campaigns with client KPIs and category goals.
  • Serve as the primary strategic client contact, providing recommendations, addressing questions, and maintaining proactive communication.
  • Analyze campaign performance and translate results into clear, actionable insights and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with CX Directors, SMEs, media, analytics, and internal teams to ensure flawless activation and optimization.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure campaign consistency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to creative briefs and ensure messaging aligns with audience insights and media strategy.
  • Prepare and present performance reviews, QBRs, and optimization plans that drive measurable business results.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training required
  • Advanced degree or professional certification preferred
