Role Overview:
This position is ideal for a junior to mid-level attorney (3-5+ years) looking to join a growing and dynamic in-house legal team and be involved in various types of legal work, including contract negotiation and drafting, providing practical advice to clients and legal analysis. Supports clients in various business units, with a focus on marketing and e-Commerce teams and in partnership with the finance/procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology and the skill set to support the digital growth of the Company.
This is a full time hybrid (remote on Monday and Friday, in office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) role located in Coraopolis, PA.
Role Responsibilities:
Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Related to marketing and brand initiatives (e.g., agency, sponsorship, collaboration, licenses, media, adtech, influencer, vendor agreements, SaaS/technology agreements, etc.).
Outside Counsel Interaction: Partners with outside counsel to establish course of action in important matters including commercial matters; intellectual property
Department Operations: Participates and assists in projects. Supports and pitches in on department initiatives. Works with, oversees and assists Legal Analysts with respect to legal issues and drafting.
Knowledge of and interest in technology and basic accounting and finance. Considers financial impact when making decisions. Understands responsibilities with respect to loss contingencies. Collaborate with Legal team and cross-functional partners to support the procurement and use of emerging technology (including AI).
Leadership:
Legal Department Leadership. Expected to work with and assist Legal Analysts.
Organizational Leadership. Participates and assists in projects, as requested.
Legal Department Collaboration. Receive and review legal work from stakeholders and members of the legal department.
