Coursera is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to manage AP operations, vendor relations, and assist with month-end close tasks, supporting financial processes across U.S. and international subsidiaries.

Location: This position can be done remotely from the US with consideration of flexibility for timezone overlap with the team.

Compensation: $57800 - $72500 / Annually

Coursera is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing Finance team. This role will assist with daily AP operations, such as managing vendor relations, processing/approving invoices, and assisting with month-end close tasks. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who multi-tasks well and can handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of invoice processing, including reviewing and approving vendor invoices within specified limits to ensure accuracy and compliance across U.S. and international subsidiaries
• Actively monitor and promptly respond to internal and external inquiries and requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system, supporting stakeholders across U.S. and international subsidiaries
• Provide support in month-end close procedures, including monthly vendor accruals, corporate credit card reconciliations, and fulfilling reporting requests related to employee expenses and vendor invoices for U.S. and international subsidiaries
• Complete vendor onboarding and maintain the integrity of vendor records and documentation in compliance with SOX requirements across U.S. and international subsidiaries
• Support the review of employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to global travel and expense policies and appropriate documentation
• Assist with ad hoc requests and other projects as assigned related to T&E and AP, with attention to global operational needs

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role with knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with Excel and Google Sheets, particularly using advanced functions 
• Detail oriented and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workflows, ensuring continuity of operations across various functions within Accounts Payable and Expense Management
• Serve as a flexible team resource, with the ability to pivot between different AP and T&E responsibilities across U.S. and international subsidiaries as needed
• Flexibility with personal schedule to accommodate meetings and collaborate effectively with global team members and stakeholders across various time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area of study
• Experience with Netsuite, Coupa, Workday Expenses, Service Now and Egencia

US Zone 1 - San Francisco Metro, New York City Metro or Seattle Metro

US Zone 2 - CA (outside of SF Bay Area), CO, CT, DC, GA, IL, MA, MD, NY/NJ (other than NYC), OR, RI, TX, VA, WA (other than Seattle)

$61,625 - $72,500 USD

US Zone 3 - all other locations not listed in Zone 1 or 2

$57,800 - $68,000 USD

The range listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.

Salary is just one component of Coursera’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for a bonus program and equity in the form of RSUs.
