- Government accounting expertise with CAS and FAR application
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, queries) and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP/financial systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and ERP implementations
- Ability to prepare audit deliverables and respond to government inquiries
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
- High attention to detail and strong organizational/prioritization skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze and model indirect (overhead) rates for provisional, final, and forward pricing submissions
- Prepare documentation and calculations for FAR and CAS compliance and disclosure statements
- Collaborate with FP&A, Pricing, and Accounting to identify process improvements and controls
- Support ERP implementation efforts with procedures, trainings, and system reconciliation
- Review project-related expenses for allowability and reasonableness under FAR/CAS
- Participate in government audits and prepare related deliverables and responses
- Produce reports assessing program profitability and allowable vs. unallowable spend
- Communicate rate impacts and assumptions to senior finance and business stakeholders
Education
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus
- Demonstrated training or coursework in government contract accounting preferred
