Sales Development Representative

Constant Contact specializes in empowering small businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profits with digital marketing and CRM tools. They are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified leads, engage prospects, and support the sales pipeline through both inbound and outbound activities in a hybrid role based in Waltham, MA.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outbound sales and lead generation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and sales engagement platforms like Salesloft, Outreach, or Groove.
  • Ability to handle high volume calling and multi-channel prospecting.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with strong follow-up habits.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and marketing-qualified leads via phone, email, and chat.
  • Qualify leads based on fit, business needs, and buying signals, guiding prospects through early sales stages.
  • Schedule meetings with Account Executives to advance qualified leads.
  • Conduct at least 75 outbound calls daily using an omni-channel approach to target and re-engage accounts.
  • Communicate value propositions clearly and overcome objections to build trust.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and reactivate inactive accounts.
  • Maintain accurate prospect data in Salesforce and utilize sales engagement tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and continuously improve lead scoring and outreach strategies.

Education

  • No specific degree required, relevant sales or business experience preferred.
