Overview
Comfort Wave Plumbing & Air is currently seeking a Controller to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Controller is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Responsibilities
- Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
- Timely and accurate closing of Financials
- Includes all aspects of month end closing
- Accrual, banking, inventory
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation and consistency
- P&L Accuracy
- Financial Reviews with Ops, CFO and Wrench
- Submission of Financials and KPIs to Corporate
- Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting as required by location and corporate
- Involvement with Banks and Cash management
- Inventory analysis and accuracy
- Leading the Accounting team and direct reports to excellence
- Train, develop and grow team to become better at their jobs
- Create, change, and/or improve processes and flows
- Identify overhead reduction opportunities
- Report to Operations and CFO any areas of weakness or opportunities from financial reviews
- Involvement in forecasting, budgeting, and annual third-party audits
- Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls
- Other requests as asked by Corporate and management
- Includes all aspects of month end closing
- Timely and accurate closing of Financials
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in partnering with an executive team, a high level of written and oral communication skills, high sense of urgency and ability to demonstrate discretion with highly sensitive and/or confidential information
- Must be fluent in English
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
