- In-depth knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate tax concepts for domestic and foreign operations
- Familiarity with indirect tax systems and tools such as OneSource
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience in direct people management
Responsibilities
- Manage federal, state, and international income tax return compliance and review for accuracy
- Oversee preparation of worldwide income tax provisions under ASC 740 including workpapers and audit deliverables
- Manage sales and use tax filing and remittance across multiple U.S. jurisdictions
- Identify and implement improvements in tax accounting and compliance processes
- Coordinate tax matters with the company’s foreign operations covering income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and transfer pricing
- Research complex tax accounting treatments and proactively identify financial statement tax reporting requirements
- Communicate tax financial reporting implications of key transactions and legislative changes to senior management
- Develop and maintain relationships with auditors, advisors, and other external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax considerations in contracts, financial modeling, and budgeting
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is typically required
