Senior Solutions Engineer Specialist
Skills
- 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions/Systems Engineering, Technical Sales, or similar).
- Experience presenting technical solutions to senior executives and technical stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies (malware, ransomware, phishing, botnets).
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern application stacks.
- Solid knowledge of SASE and Zero Trust networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SWG, CASB, DLP, DNS security / DoH, IdP integrations (SAML/OTP), and SIEM/log analytics.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, architecting solutions using the Cloudflare One portfolio.
- Lead solution design, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical demonstrations.
- Collaborate with sales partners to drive pipeline generation and revenue attainment.
- Analyze customer networks, applications, and security requirements to produce robust architectures.
- Differentiate Cloudflare One capabilities versus competitors to technical and executive audiences.
- Capture customer feedback, product gaps, and feature requests and communicate them to product and engineering teams.
- Partner with Product teams to represent customer needs and help shape the product roadmap.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., cloud, security, networking) are a plus.
