- Proficiency in a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go)
- Deep knowledge of internet technologies (OSI layers 1-7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS)
- Familiarity with Zero Trust framework and SASE concepts
- Extensive customer-facing sales or consulting experience (12+ years)
- Strong project management, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Responsibilities
- Drive technical discussions and demonstrations across the sales cycle (pre- and post-sales)
- Qualify technical requirements, design solutions, and lead proofs-of-concept (PoCs)
- Onboard and train customers via video-conference and in-person sessions
- Advise account teams and customers on best practices for security, performance, and deployment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to resolve customer needs
- Create and repurpose tools/scripts, rules, and documentation to scale customer success
- Travel 20-30% for customer meetings, conferences, and internal collaboration
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
- Graduate degrees and industry certifications considered a plus
- Candidates from diverse backgrounds without formal degrees are welcome
