Skills
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand engineering tradeoffs
- Experience designing APIs and developer-facing platforms
- Comfortable working directly with customers and debugging implementation issues
- Ability to create prototypes, code examples, and technical demos
- Familiarity using AI tools to accelerate research and development
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Workers for Platforms
- Collaborate with engineering, design, partnerships, and customer teams to ship APIs, management layers, and developer experiences
- Work hands-on with large customers to guide implementation, gather feedback, and iterate quickly
- Specify and get into details of APIs, developer tooling, and platform primitives
- Create demos, prototypes, and code examples to demonstrate product concepts
- Represent Cloudflare externally with partners and developer communities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) or technical certifications are a plus
