Manager, Business Development

Chime is a consumer-focused fintech on a mission to help everyday Americans achieve financial progress. The Manager, Business Development will own end-to-end partnership efforts—building pitch decks, conducting diligence, modeling economics, negotiating terms, and driving cross-functional launches—to create differentiated partner-powered products and incremental growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead small and mid-sized partnership deals and support larger strategic partnerships from pitch through launch.
  • Develop compelling partner pitch decks and internal proposals articulating value and strategic fit.
  • Support deal structuring, review term sheets, and contribute to contract negotiations with Legal and stakeholders.
  • Conduct diligence, third-party risk assessments, expert outreach, and market research to validate opportunities.
  • Project manage partnership launches, coordinating Product, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and external partners.
  • Track partnership performance, manage invoicing, and identify expansion opportunities to deepen engagement.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline research, contract review, and reduce operational burden.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Preferred: advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or comparable professional experience
